Renshi, Rokudan (5th Dan) Judo
Bruce is proud to hold the title of Shihan- Renshi and grade
of Rokudan (6th Dan) Iaido and Renshi, Godan (5th Dan) Judo
with Dai Nippon Butoku Kai International Division. The titles
and grades were presented personally by Hanshi Tesshin Hamada,
Chair DNBKID.
He has an absolute belief in the training and teaching of
traditional Japanese Koryu (traditional school) of which Muso
Shinden Ryu is one.
In addition to the above Shihan Scrivens is 6th Dan with
the Federation of Iai Schools and 5th Dan with British Judo
Council (MAC) He is also registered Yudansha with the British
Judo Association with whom he is a Level 3 Senior Coach. He
is Kata Certificated and also holds the grade of Shodan Ju
Jitsu and is registered with the Prestigeous Society of Black
