Seishin Dojo is officially registered as an official dojo
with Dai Nippon Butoku Kai International Division.
In addition, a number of selected Seishin Members are members
of DNBKID

2000 - Attended the 1st
European Butoku Sai on in Manchester UK
2000 - Participated in the Millennium
Training Camp, Norfolk Virginia
2002 - Travelled to Japan to take
part in the 2nd World Butoku Sai in the historic
Butokuden in Kyoto. It was at this historic event that he
gained the title of Renshi and was also awarded the Doryuko
Sho (Award of Great Effort)
2003 - Attended European Rensei Taikai
held in Magdeburg,Germany
2004 - Travelled to Norfolk, Virginia
USA to take part in The DNBK All America and International
Butoku Sai. Bruce was once again privileged to be awarded
the Doryuko Sho (Award of Great Effort) at this event which
attracted over 400 people from around the world. He was awarded
his Godan (5th Dan) Judo and Sandan (3rd
Dan) Iaido personally by Hiroyuki Tesshin Hamada, Hanshi,
Chair of International Division Dai Nippon Butoku
Kai.
2005 - Took part in the European
Rensei Taikai held in Sintra, Portugal. At this event, Bruce
was honoured to receive the following two awards:
Shorei Sho (Commending Performance Award)
and
Outstanding Instructor Award
2006 - Took part in European
Butoku Sai in Brussels Belgium. At this event Seishin received
the Doryuko Sho for Iaido.
2006 - Dai
Nippon Butoku Kai - UK Budo Seminar
On Sunday 5th March 2006 a strong team from Seishin travelled
to the Wycombe Judo Centre in High Wycombe to take part in
this event.
Seishin demonstrated Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido and Traditional
Judo Kata. The Judo katas were performed by some of our junior
students.
This was then followed by training seminars in Iaido, Judo,
Ju Jitsu, Aikido and Karate. All these were led by Hanshi
Hamada, Chair DNBK International Division

Bruce was honoured to receive from Hanshi Hamada the award

World Bukoku Sai and 46th All Japan Butoku Sai, Kyoto, Japan
Seishin were awarded the Doryoku Sho and Renshi Scrivens the
Shorei Sho
